A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Great decision-making coming from them; I can FEEL it.

Luck, Sparky!

Librarian Warlord

They had the nerve to tell us we should "feel good" about how they were going about things.

I pretty much spent the whole night thinking about all the things it would "feel good" to say to them.

Your workplace is pretty tonedeaf, no?

My knees hurt (I sorta know why, but it still sucks,) I had to fish Devi out from under the bed, it's fucking cold and I have a dentist appt and I still haven't sorted out the new FSA, the card which I forgot anyway and all my damn passwords for it are at home.

I kinda hate everything.

Art Crawl!!!

It was 11 degrees when I woke up! (Or so says NPR.) And it did feel warmer than yesterday. (Although, the office does not.)

We might get some snow too - which would be good.

Sparky - hate the reorg nonsense. I hope it works out for you.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Five degrees here. I really don't want to go outside.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really gave going to bed early last night a good shot, but then I couldn't stop reading! Stupid books.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Back in double digits, barely. And snow! Yay!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

all decisions were made from the Provost's office, based on job descriptions

OH, fer. That's ridiculous. Do they not consider seniority?

Stupid books.

HAH, Jesse. I was up until 2AM on Sunday night, reading a LotR novel in which Legolas falls in love with a human woman. No, I have no idea. (It was actually pretty good, once you get past the basic idea: slowly developed and as canonical as possible given the storyline.)

Compassionately intolerant

We've got 20 whole degrees here below the Mason/Dixon line...but it 'feels like' 10.

Speaking of feels. Sparky, I hope the PTB have the good sense to feel appropriately appreciative and dependent feelings towards YOU, for goodness sakes.

So. I felt so relieved about finally getting into see the podiatrist last week but my good feel was premature. I've called 3 times, asking for what to do next and have had no response in a week.

The two people I have actually spoken to behave as if I am speaking another language. They keep asking me, "What did he tell you to do?"

HE DIDN'T. I'm waiting for him to get and respond to test results so that he CAN tell me what to do.

"Well. If he didn't call, that means the test results were good."

No. He didn't take the blood. He's getting blood test results from the lab. He said I needed the medication, but he had to see the results first.

"If he gave you medication, you have to take it."

He DIDN'T.

I don't even know.

In the meanwhile, ever time I get a twinge in my foot, I'm freaking out that it will lead back to the hospital. Stress. It's eating me from the bottom of my foot.
