Hey, ita, did you see my post about topiramate and visual stuff?
There's an irony I'm not going to touch, but clearly I didn't re-assemble my browser crash post in as good detail as I thought. Thanks for the information that I'm not permanently jacking up my eyesight--I'll have do decide what a workable balance is.
Gnargh. I'm going on a major price/taste/ingredient comparison binge, and it's quite depressing. Also, I need to remember to do it with smaller units. That vat of cheap yoghurt with twice as much sugar as the more expensive kind? Actually a waste of money. Pfft. And that Straus stuff fucking tasty. ::sigh::
Everything I've tried from Straus Dairy I've really liked. Definitely my favorite cream. Yum.
I love how ita's random optician has worked on Buffy, while my random optician in LA? Has not. Then again, she has a wee head and face and so stocks far more glass frames that fit my wee face than most eyeglass shops.
yay Dana, fingers crossed for your DH.
And vibing hard for you too, Consuela. I hope everything works out.
I still cannot believe what they are putting you through Consuela. So Kafkaesque.
I am off to work. Whee.
Burrell, can I have her name? I have huge issues finding glasses that fit my wee face.
Burrell, can I have her name?
I hope it's Dr. Tinyhead.
Her name is Heidi Fahringer, Pix. She's in Culver City. I like her, but in the interests of full disclosure I should note that her staff--well one woman on her staff--can sometimes be a bit pushy. She's always given good advice about how the glasses look, but I haven't always liked her tone.
Layoffs at my workplace begin this morning, and will keep happening through the week. No one from the school had any input into who would be let go - all decisions were made from the Provost's office, based on job descriptions. This is not going to go well.
Oh Sparky!, that's a terrible situation.
