Well fuck. The pest control guy "forgot" about us and is gone. They are seeing if they can get a different guy out here tonight or the regular guy in the morning. He accepts the blame for missing us, but that doesn't do me a whole lot of good.

I'd rather have it done tonight, even though I have to leave for 4 hours. The beds are torn apart and I don't want to put them back together just to tear them apart in the morning. The cats have been confined all day, don't want to confine them again tomorrow.

So tired. So stressed. So done.

Nevermind that work is busy as hell. I put in 12 hours yesterday and am trying to get in another 12 today.

I think (and this is the Internet in general) that people confuse snark with mean. Beyonce's extensions were actually pretty good - although I didn't see them from the back. Kelly Clarkson though needed to go darker (just a tad) from her shade.

I hope I am never famous enough to be featured on a fashion blog because those comments are going to be out of control about what I wear and who I am. there is some famous person who claims to never read anything about herself online or in print and I think I would do that.

Too cold for my blood here, but I guess I should be thankful the temperature is still in positive numbers.

Still no word as to what is going on. Both kids are home. On one hand, I'd rather push it off to tomorrow so I can let the cats out and stop feeling on edge. But then we have to do the linen lindy tonight and repeat everything tomorrow.

AND, because I'm waiting for all this to get worked out I'm missing my karate lesson. I REALLY need to punch and kick something. Someone. Anything.

That's why I share my dreams. I'm mostly not a fiction writer. I get all these great fiction prompts in my dreams that I don't have the chops to follow up on. (And believe me, I've tried on occasion. Still have 12,000 word on "Deadlands" that I don't think will ever become a novel.) Good ideas without the ability to follow through are not worth much. So I share them in hope someone can make use of them. If the original Kristen wants to squeeze in that script in between Nikita work she is more than welcome to it. So is anyone else.

Also, speaking as someone who occasionally snarks on other people's outfits, It is becoming apparent that I shouldn't do that publicly anymore. There are some people who follow me on Tumblr for, as far as I can tell, getting upset and calling me a hypocrite when I do. Which makes me roll my eyes at them, but oh well.

The only fashion blog I really follow is Sinister Sartorialist. [link] Everything else is gothy/antique tumblrs where fashion occasionally shows up.

Ok. Guy is there. Doing his thing. We are off to the laundromat. Then maybe a movie? Something to keep us out till 9 pm.
