Obama produced his long-form birth certificate about 1 month before bin Laden was killed. Apparently it takes months of paperwork for a long form birth certificate to be released. So his lawyers were working on it.

Prior to this, he released the short form birth certificate which is what Hawaii acknowledges is a proof of birth in the state.

People complained about this because it didn't give the doctor's name on the short form or the employment of the parents.

From my throne, I did a quick scan of common side effects, and vision issues are among the commonly reported side effects (one is the unhelpfully vague "abnormal vision"). One specific vision issue reported is acute nearsightedness caused by glaucoma brought on by topiramate -- in that specific situation, the recommendation is to discontinue the drug. I don't know if that's true for *all* vision abnormalities caused by topiramate.

Rather than ask that shithead why he has a problem with the first POTUS to indicate that he is in favor of my friend having equal rights, I just unfriended him, because FUCK HIM. (Why *that* post and none of the other shitty ones during the election? Maybe because Kat and Nanita were at the inauguration and damn well missed work. Maybe because I just hit my tipping point. Or maybe just FUCK HIM, that's why.)

people, I was at lunch with people who, while not birthers, said that Obama would not answer questions about his birth certificate or produce anything for over a year after the first election. That's not right, right?!?! and then one of them said that the first one that was produced was proven to be a forgery. not true again, right?!?! why people so crazy.

Oh god, I almost blacked out this morning listening to some Republicans-on-the-street on NPR talking about the birth certificate thing. STILL????? And some other bullshit that I have blocked from my memory.
