Angel: I appreciate you guys looking out for Connor all summer. It's just—he's confused. He needs time. That's all. Fred: Right. Time, and some corporal punishment with a large heavy mallet. Not that I'm bitter.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

why am I researching this? This is not relevant to my interests.

Yeah, I'm so glad I keep googling?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My expensive hair cut/color guy treats me very well. He gives me a flat rate no matter what he does (sometimes we go back and hit it with some sort of wash or glaze or more highlights or whatnot until it looks right), and since I really can't afford him (and he knows this) he somehow gives me cuts that... last (since I can only see him twice a year). He once cut in bangs with layers that lasted, no shit, six months. Once he took out some Manic Panic turquoise out of my very blonde highlights for the same usual rate. (I timed that visit for right after a week of band following.)

Of course, I've followed him to about seven different salons over the years. I suspect he's a bit of a diva or somehow difficult to work with. Regardless, we have a long-standing committed relationship.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If you spell it "handjob" rather than "hand job" the results make more sense.

And you know what--gayer! I think it's interesting that handjob triggers the YES PORN setting for US Google, but "hand job" (with quotes) does not. I feel I should consult urban dictionary on this, but then I recall what a steaming pile of faeces that it is.

I never regret the many pennies I plunked down for really nice sheets. Minimum 400 thread count, Egyptian cotton.

Bed linens are where my luxury money goes too. 450 thread count damask stripe for the win! Though at least I do buy them on sale, unlike the time I spent almost $400 on a faux silk fitted sheet.

Swouncing

Skipping oh-so-way-too much, and just a bit under the wire for the date to change on board time (I have to run to my commute, oh confusing timezones) because, according to Stephanie "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me" Jan 21, 2012 2:22:10 pm PST today is Sammy's first birthday.

Happy birthday, you big baby boy! With lots of wishes to your mom, your sister and brother, and all your family!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bed linens are another place where it's important for me to remember where it tops out, sensually. Maybe that's not the right word. But it's late, I'm tired, head hurts, so sensually it is.

But you can watch the dollars and the thread count go up and up, but my skin stops being able to tell the difference.

I'm not sure if that means today or yesterday is/was Sammy's birthday, but a happy one nonetheless.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy birthday to Sammy!

Happy Inauguration Day! I don't have a day off, but I am working from home so I can play along.

Didn't bother with hair or makeup but came into the office cause I needed to get out of the house (and I have to work today.) Of course, my officemate is in as well.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm going to spend the afternoon/night with my father, and normally I would suggest a long walk, but it's cold, and will be snowy by then! Booo. I guess I'll just wear the big coat and go for it anyway.
