No idea. It's parked in a resident spot. (If it were on the street I might be able to get it towed!)

This may be completely untrue, but I heard the alarm goes off once the car is tilted to a certain angle -- such as would happen when being towed.
Cassiepants, can she shut this thing up with some black clothing and a jack under the front bumper?
Timelies all!
Nova is in my lap, as usual, tenderizing my bathrobe.

Yeah, that car thing would make me nuts.
Two days? By that point I'd be considering solutions like building a fire on a skateboard and rolling it under the car's engine.

What an annoyance, Cass. That happened on our street once. One of our neighbor's parked his car in his driveway while he went on vacation. Car alarm shorts and goes off, and the rest of us have to hear it go off at regular intervals for a week! Luckily for us, it only went nuts for the first few hours and for the next few days it was just a brief 5 minute burst every hour or so. Still annoying as all get out, but bearable, even funny after a while.

I would be quite insane after 2 days of a car alarm.

Re: the eyesight correction discussion earlier in the week - I think peripheral vision is never really in sharp focus so wearing glasses instead of contacts shouldn't make it atrophy from disuse, particularly.
