I don't give a good gorram about relevant, Wash. Or objective. And I ain't so afraid of losing something that I ain't gonna try to have it. You and I would make one beautiful baby. And I want to meet that child one day. Period.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Fingers crossed Sarameg. That is a heavy thing.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I recorded a song! On my cigar box guitar, 'cause I thought that would be funny as a first thing to do. And it's awesome, although of course the recording itself is horrible. But! Worked!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sara, I hope she's just as strong as she needs to be, and then some.

Cutting my hair made me grumpy, which is 180 from normal. But the barber WOULD NOT SHUT UP. So my hair is too long (it's a hair *cut*, not a hair *leave*, fucker), and he trimmed my hairline, and I got a parking ticket because I counted parking spots wrong (it's one of those lots with central pre-payment, and I counted up from neighbouring space 31, not down) and my eyesight is so shot I couldn't read the amount I owed until I got home.

At least, Megan tomorrow. And they better not intend to come to my apartment, even though we'll basically be passing it to get to Rodeo shopping. Because I am not tidying.

Scrappy, I don't think there are any openings in your area at the big G in L.A., but if you see anything you want to apply for, let me know: [link]

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sara, I hope she's just as strong as she needs to be, and then some.

This. It's very hard to be worried, especially when you were right once before. I do hope she rallies and gets past the URI and there's nothing else scary going on with Devi. Fingers very crossed.

If you have a moment (or a few minutes) for some pretty impressive cultural whiplash: [link] I can't think of a more thorough "It's not about you."
