These girls have the most beautiful dresses. And so do I -- how about that?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

This is kind of brilliant: [link]

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, it was astonishing to see Dawnie all grown up but not so much to see her playing crazy - she seems to do that now. Also - sad about the non-badassitute of Beth Riesgraf's character and her death. Poor Spencer.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'd have to figure something out to get hanging out time, but that can probably be done.

Cool. If you are there long enough to get a meal break, I could come to you and bring food, if we can make the timing work out.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I relisted 8 things that did not sell int he last ebay bunch and it looks like at least 4 of them will sell now. Whoot!

My big boss is out today and I really need to plow through some low-urgency work so it does not get lost in the shuffle, but I am taking a few minutes this morning to just wallow in the non-harriedness.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

ita, every once in a while I see white sweet potatoes at the grocery store. I don't know if they're exactly the same as the ones you're thinking of, though. I used them a while ago in a recipe for a stew that called for plantains, but I couldn't find plantains, and they seemed like they'd give a somewhat similar flavor and wouldn't affect the color of the stew like the orange sweet potatoes would.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That would be amazingly good, Lee! We'll see what we can do.

am now interested in doing this myself. My mom had it done for cataracts and was amazed afterward that she didn't even need glasses. My vision might be too bad, though. What's the actual name of the surgery so I can google it?

I doubt your vision is too bad--it's for people whose vision is too bad for LASIK! My glasses were a -13.5, and I know they've done stronger. It's called ICL--I think the company that makes them is Visian? There's also a similar but different procedure from a company called...Verisye? Or something? Google implantable contact lenses, it'll all come up.
