I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

well, mac was able to finally recover himself and we both did exercises during the commercial breaks of biggest loser.

I made 18 listings on ebay today, a 21 gallon bin and a paper grocery sack full of stuff is what I listed. So far only 1 thing has a bid, but from the number of people watching the other items, I think there is a good shot of most of it selling. whoot!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

What should I start watching next?

I can't remember -- do you watch Community?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I can't remember -- do you watch Community?

That was my suggestion.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I just finished Arrested Development on Netflix. What should I start watching next?

Better Off Ted.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I agree with Dana--if you've already watched Community (and liked it), Better Off Ted is the natural next step.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I have watched Better Off Ted (and freaking loved it), but not Community- I didn't know it was on Netflix!!

Community is not on Netflix, but I just bought the first three seasons on Amazon. $9.99 per season, seemed like a great deal!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I grocery shopped and made my lunches for the week. Kristen's mom and my SIL both got me really nice lunch boxes. I made individual spinach salads and turkey wraps and I have goldfish crackers, yogurt, bananas, and granola bars for snacks. It's all sort of healthy, right?

Two loads of laundry half done. Xmas decorations are all taken down and put away. I think Kristen had to dump out the Roomba three bazillion (twice) times what with all the pine needles.

Taking down decorations is depressing as hell.

I don't mind so much because (a) I like having the space back in the room after the tree is gone, and (b) I try to not hold on to last year and get a running start on the new year. It doesn't last long but cleaning house, and filing things and throwing out junk feels regenerative somehow.

January and February aren't my favorite months, but I try to get a little momentum shooting into them and then I s-t-r-e-t-c-h to get to Spring (and Day Light Savings Time ending) and Opening Day (baseball) and other life-affirming events.

Which may not work for everybody, but I think you've got to have a strategy to get through winter.
