Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Today I went to the dispensary to pick up more of my insomnia-fighting tinctures, mended/cleaned/ironed my black silk frock coat, cleaned and refilled a few of my fountain pens, and made cheese biscuits. But the most important thing about today? I met my Dad's lady friend, and she is wonderful. I was predisposed to like her anyway, because she's made my Dad so happy, but she's a really good person. (Our version of good person, that is: kind, smart, and very snarky.)

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Kat, do you use a special foot to put the binding on the hospital gowns? Or do you do it in2 passes?

The binding is just double fold bias tape. The snap tape I put on using a zipper foot with two passes, because I figured I could get closer to the snaps that way.

I have a special hemming foot, but each time I use it, I do a terrible job.

Yay Jilli's dad's lady friend.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

One of the things I did today was to buy a lifetime Crowded House Fan Club membership. I am both proud and shamed by this fact.

Why would you be shamed? Love what you love!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I just finished Arrested Development on Netflix. What should I start watching next?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

well, mac was able to finally recover himself and we both did exercises during the commercial breaks of biggest loser.

I made 18 listings on ebay today, a 21 gallon bin and a paper grocery sack full of stuff is what I listed. So far only 1 thing has a bid, but from the number of people watching the other items, I think there is a good shot of most of it selling. whoot!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I can't remember -- do you watch Community?

That was my suggestion.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I agree with Dana--if you've already watched Community (and liked it), Better Off Ted is the natural next step.
