I just realized my problem! No matter how objectively great my boss is being (and she is being great), this is way worse than the thing I actually got fired over, years ago.
OK, deep breathing and ACTION. Lack of action is how I got into this mess in the first place. Also I keep finding ancient emails that make it other people's fault as well.

I am finally through with my year-end reports. Just in time to start putting together the weeklies for next week. The only thing I have not been able to address this week has been my stuff. I really hope to get some of it done today.
