"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So what goes better with Indian food: white wine or red?

Singha Beer.

(Curry is notoriously difficult to pair with wine, though I've heard some Zins will work.)

Also, that astronaut tweeting this is awesome, but what does MBB mean?

Singha Beer

I don't have time to stop for beer! But I have a bottle of Viognier in the fridge, and a case of red in the closet.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, man, I have meat jealousy now...

But, software can suck it! I just worked out my conditional formatting question on my own!

(Which is good, because when I asked a co-worker where the restart numbering option was in Word 2010, he totally led me up the garden path. It's kinda weird when you think about the things you're just supposed to be competent at, and not that many people are--and then some people are fierce with--there are a few masters of spreadsheets here (I hear pivot and I quake) that blow me away)

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Fashion hive-mind question: Remember those crushed velvet broomstick skirts that were everywhere in the 80s and 90s? The super-full ones? Anyone seen them lately? I'm coveting them like mad.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

what does MBB mean?

"My Best, Bill"

And Nimoy signs his tweets with "LLAP" for "Live Long and Prosper".

Why do adults pick chunks out of the tops of muffins AND PUT THEM BACK IN THE BOX? It looks like a randy squirrel violated the baked goods from the finance department. I'm less upset about having missed the goodies (I do have two muffins in my purse) IF I CAN'T SEE THEIR BODIES everytime I walk past the kitchen.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Viognier is perfect for Indian IMO.

Coolness, I'll bring that. And my nommy nommy millionaire bars, so I don't eat them all myself this weekend.
