But if it helps?
See, it's not actually about my headaches. It's about my neck pain. Which I do intensely dislike. But it grinds me to a halt less than the headaches.
I'm looking at the Skillpath courses that my manager forwarded to me. I wonder if I get to take two? I am tempted to ask for the "how can I be nicer???" ones, but I'll just ask for project management like a good girl.
However, my Christmas vacation was a like...call me Scrooge, I guess, but I was only visited by the Ghost of Christmas Past, and apparently I'm quite the bully. Which...cracks me up, but that's not fair to the people that think I strong-armed them into whatever conclusion I decided was right that day.
Oops.

Is the idea that they are actually the same thing? Because now that sounds like a big response to a secondary problem?

The neck pain makes the headaches worse. But I'm in the ER once a week with zero neck pain, so...it's just that this year he couldn't stop the neck pain any other way.
I know there are people are looking for this invasive procedure to have miracle migraine results, but neither of my specialists are predicting them, and I'm not expecting them.
Yeah, okay, that sounds like a lot for possibly not that much return. I mean, it's good that the insurance will cover so if you get driven to that point you have the option, but maybe you're not there now.
What about the scial owrker who thought she could get you treatments at home? Even if it s thousand to one shot, sounds like it is worth a few phone calls.

She's visiting on Friday. But that's entirely orthogonal. At least, I hope they are. I don't want any judgement if I do or do not go ahead with the neurostimulator.
I have not gotten the year wrong today, but I have gotten the day of the month wrong every time until just now.
Oh, Matt, I am so sorry. What an awful thing to go through even if it wasn't unexpected. My sympathies to them while they get through a terrible time.
Yeah, okay, that sounds like a lot for possibly not that much return.
That really is extreme for something that likely won't even touch the headache pain. I think I thought that it was hoped it would significantly dial those down. I wish we understood pain better. And how to make it go away.
This is because the Earth's orbit is an ellipse. As a result, Winters in the Northern hemisphere are a little shorter and warmer than they'd otherwise be.
Which? Yay. I am pretty sure that longer and colder winters would make me unhappy.
Huh, so a post about tattoos and working with a tattooist on XOJane just made me kind of irrationally cranky.
"Although your friend is probably super duper talented and should definitely become a tattoo artist , most tattooers will not want to replicate his/her drawing on your skin. Usually because the drawing sucks. And if you want it that bad, get your stupid friend to do it."
Hmmph. My tattoo artist has always been fine with exactly replicating Pete's designs. I always schedule a consultation first, so Joe can look at the design and let us know if any elements need to be resized, but he's never refused to ink something because it wasn't His Vision. However it looks like a lot of the commentators are just as annoyed by that bit of the article as me, so I feel all vindicated.
(Aaaaand now I want to get my next tattoo. I need to find a good image of the symbol for the Order of the Dragon, because I've decided it's time to really own my Dracula geekery.)
Oh Matt, I'm really sorry. All the ~ma in the world for you and your family.
