It's my estimation that... every man ever got a statue made of him, was one kind of sumbitch or another.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Now that I've deleted all the random crap like Staples marketing emails, I only have 38! It's like I was never gone!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Wow, I stayed up Way Too Late reading, and now I have to work three days in a row?? Oy.

I stayed up Way Too Late watching the last 5 episodes of Gossip Girl (the best thing was a Kristen Bell cameo, and she looked cute pregnant).

The only plus to being back to work is that I now am at a computer with a keyboard and can actually comment without wanting to rip my hair out! I just spent almost 2 weeks on just an iphone!

Where did I leave my coffee?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

In the kitchen.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Where did I leave my coffee?

Currently over Detroit, heading 270 degrees, 10,000 ft altitude, speed 230 knots.

Happy Closest The Earth Comes To The Sun Day!

Currently the Earth is 91.4 million miles from the Sun. On average the Earth is about 93 million miles from the Sun.

This is because the Earth's orbit is an ellipse. As a result, Winters in the Northern hemisphere are a little shorter and warmer than they'd otherwise be.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So I'm trying to start the new year on a good note. Yesterday I cleaned out a bunch of junk from my house, went for a hike with a friend and made a hearty and healthy dinner. Today I cleaned my desk off--actually used cleaner and paper towels and got a year's worth of dust and tea stains off the thing.

It's like I was never gone!

I have basically no new emails in my inbox, so I'll have to figure out what to do with myself the rest of the day. Long-term projects, I guess, pfeh.

At least it's a beautiful sunny day, and I can see the hills & the bay & the Transamerica Pyramid clear as anything from my window.
