I swear, these people are giving me water and calling it dilaudid. I mean, I don't, but they could totally right now. That's how little effect I'm feeling right now.
hivemind question. I have pumpkin muffins that have gone uneaten this week. They are not bad, but are starting to get a bit dry. I was thinking they would make a good base for a bread pudding like yumfest. Could I just soak them in milk, pour some beaten eggs over them and bake?
another hivemind question. I am writing thank you notes to the people at work who gave me Christmas gifts, but writing on to my boss doesn't feel right. thoughts?
(bonus fact about writing these notes, it will use up 1 package of notecards)
beds got made, sheets are drying, and dinner was eaten. I have 2 pillows washing now and need to get a couple of things cooking.
I am gonna go for the longest posting streak ever until one of you brave souls convinces me I am not marcied.
fair warning. pumpkin pie play by play.
I use a pumpkin pie recipe from a magazine I found years ago, don't even know which magazine as I have trimmed the page, removing all identifiers.
To the required, innerds of one small baking pie or 1 can of pie filling, add: 1/4 c brown sugar, 1/8 cup white sugar, 1.5 tsp grnd cinnamon, 1 tsp grnd ginger, pinch of grnd cloves, and 2 beaten eggs.
Pumpkin pie is delicious. Mmm. I should really make it more often (other than the issue of "not right now because I have a whole new year's plan")
Is it just me, or do other people start new year's resolutions on January 2nd? Because I always feel like since 1/1 is a holiday, 1/2 is when I get back to "regular" life. A holiday is the perfect day to finish all your preparations or whatever for any resolutions (be that buying workout clothes, or cooking a healthy casserole, or finishing cleaning your apartment, etc)
Not that I've actually decided on a "resolution" (I am going back on a diet, but that isn't so much a resolution...I don't intend to be on one forever or anything).
