Ugh. In the past two days I have dealt with an emergency leak in my building for which I will also have to hire someone to repair my downstairs neighbor's ceiling (the leak was under my bathtub, only access is from below). And then today I found out my car needs new shocks, so I have to find an extra $750 in the couch cushions in the next couple of weeks.
The leak, fortunately, was in between two apartments and is therefore the coop's responsibility to pay for. Ditto the ceiling because it was damaged as a result of the leak.
So PLEASE NOTHING ELSE BREAK IN 2012. That's all I ask!
Trash day is tomorrow -- I just took down the christmas tree and put it in the green recycle bin. WOOT!
I cleaned up my music files on the computer. sadly this does not make the house look any better. bah.
damn, only a few more hours to get stuff done. must go make beds so that is not an issue later.
Realtor - who I have ambivalent feelings about - just requested to add me via Google +.
Dude, you didn't offer ANY final words after house closed - no thank you, no nada and my final communication involved asking me where the mailbox key was and if I have a key to the storm door - 30 days ago.
I don't think I will add you via Google +, even if it is a service I do not use.
Now that I've moved the tree out of the way, I have a tree sized space that is empty. What should go back there?
A couple of boxes to fill with clothes/toy culling. Playmat for kids.
Play MAT not mate, MAT.
Make sure to check with the Gazebo Committee for any new Gazebo Rules if you decide to go down that path.
I swear, these people are giving me water and calling it dilaudid. I mean, I don't, but they could totally right now. That's how little effect I'm feeling right now.
hivemind question. I have pumpkin muffins that have gone uneaten this week. They are not bad, but are starting to get a bit dry. I was thinking they would make a good base for a bread pudding like yumfest. Could I just soak them in milk, pour some beaten eggs over them and bake?
