I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

omg, mac is gonna be back in 2 hours. I've managed like 5 Christmas cards, and I cleared all the Criminal Minds off the TiVo. Guess I better watch Scandal next, right?

I've also been making gift tags from old Christmas cards - a thing I got from Pinterest. Many cards do not lend themselves to the repurposing - those I am just tossing, because 3 year old cards? don't need those. I think I may keep some favorites and make a Christmas collage to hang over the fireplace.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

msbelle is adorable.

I need to go get more butter so I can make sugar cookie dough. I thought I had enough in the house, but I forgot that the recipe asks for a full pound. Ridic. Other baking will wait to closer to the day of, but I realized this am I need to start planning the menus.

Our wings are not tired.

Wow, I haven't been outside today so I didn't know it got cold. It is supposed to get into the 40s tonight! Guess I better dig around for long pants. And a sweater! Maybe this will help me get the holiday spirit thing happening.

I have a headcold. I basically passed out the past 5 hours. This is inconvenient.

Always Anti-fascist!

I didn't find much of anything in Burlington Coat Factory. Just some bras.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I am in a mall right now. Otherwise known as Hades. I still have yet to hear LDB. Does it count if you get past Xmas and hear it?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Owen's teacher got him an illustrated, kid-friendly graphic novel of Hamlet. She cleared it with me ahead of time and said he was the only one she'd give something like that to. He cracked it open as soon as he got home.

I'll be in the corner beaming. Forever.

Cash, if he likes history, Eve is adoring a series called Nathan Hale's Dangerous Tales. (There are so many good graphic novels for kids out there now; I have become a real evangelist of them at the kids' school. We have a graphic novel of Moby Dick!)

Oh, flea that is awesome! Owen asked for my copy of Moby Dick and started flipping through it. A good graphic version is what I've been looking for!!

This is the version we have - we got it at the whaling museum in New Bedford this summer. [link]
