Owen's teacher got him an illustrated, kid-friendly graphic novel of Hamlet. She cleared it with me ahead of time and said he was the only one she'd give something like that to. He cracked it open as soon as he got home.
I'll be in the corner beaming. Forever.
Cash, if he likes history, Eve is adoring a series called Nathan Hale's Dangerous Tales. (There are so many good graphic novels for kids out there now; I have become a real evangelist of them at the kids' school. We have a graphic novel of Moby Dick!)
Oh, flea that is awesome! Owen asked for my copy of Moby Dick and started flipping through it. A good graphic version is what I've been looking for!!
This is the version we have - we got it at the whaling museum in New Bedford this summer. [link]
Just found out I got two tickets to the inauguration from my Congressional rep.--woo hoo!
DAMMIT! I had an Etsy transaction go astray. I mailed the original package to their Etsy address. She contacted me two weeks later saying it hadn't arrived. I shipped another package immediately. It says it was delivered but the buyer says she didn't get it. If her Etsy address is not correct what obligation do I have? I'm already out a second item. I'll be damned if I'm mailing a third.
Refund her money, maybe, Cash?
No refund if they were both delivered! She might be trying to scam you....did you have tracking on the shipments?
eta: and it's really HER responsibility to make sure her shipping address is correct.
Um, both packages were delivered. Is there some policy at Etsy that applies.
