Art Crawl!!!

Dana - you might want to call your local police station too. They may get news of lost dogs there.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Aww, doggy. You're good people, Dana.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My apartment building has either changed the pet rules, or people (including the apartment manager) are quite brazen. It is dogs and cats up in here. It's weird...what if I moved here in part because there were no pets allowed? I don't remember being informed that the rules had changed. Seems like something worth a mention, even though I'm not about to throw a snit fit--but people with phobias or allergies should get warnings.

Good god, this morning's tea is great.

As is hearing Change Control over the wall saying "ita ! does a very good job with her status--I can just copy and paste from what she reports."

Status reporting is my Achilles heel--you don't even know. I am publicly mocked in front of CIOs for my weakness, my inability to say more than "Stuff. Happened. Kinda like we expected."

I want to grab Change Control and stuff them into my performance evaluation which was way slanted towards the middle of the year (clusterfuck) and light on the beginning (miracle project from hell).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh no, Kevin Clash! [link]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Birthday Happies, Jess!

Happy Teacupiversary!

Wow, the number of people in that article saying that he shouldn't have dated the guy at 18...why do I still get irritated by that stuff? I know that's the world. It's not the worst thing the world does, and it won't stop me dating a putative legal teen, but still...irks. Don't like, don't do. But it's legal, so leave it be.

And the people saying that he was totes gay, so...

SO WHAT? SO STATUTORY RAPE?

Right. Comments. On the web. Let me get back to work.

And this tea. Tasty tea.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

What type of tea are you having that is so tasty, ita !?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is the tasty tea: Rishi Peach Blossom tea--it's white tea with peach and tangerine overtones. It's pretty damned forgiving towards the vagaries of brewing at work and oversteeping because of random stuff. And I clearly need to buy from that website, because $10 for just over one ounce at the Vitamin Shop is Teavana-esque.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy birthday, Jess! Happy anniversary, sj!

Go you with the dog rescuing, Dana!

I spent the weekend being outdoorsy and active, and now I'm sore. This is why so many of us shun you, Exercise! If I'm gonna have sore thighs I should get a hickie and some rumpled sheets to go with them.
