That's crazy-talk. Well, OK, the main storm is swooping around us for now, anyway. Chicago Tribune says we're gonna get the snow and ice starting at 3:00. The Weather Channel snow starts at 8:00.
I'll guess we'll see if I have to leave early.

Well, so far my flight was supposed to take off at 2:45, and is now saying at 3:15...except the flight that is coming FROM Chicago to BECOME my flight isn't supposed to land until 3:22 (it did finally take off, over an hour late). So....yeah.
But I figure better to end up in Chicago and have to fly home tomorrow morning than have to do this whole thing over again tomorrow. So fingers are crossed.

I noted last week that I was bummed our Search and Rescue holiday party was cancelled in honor of the victims of the shooting. I found out today that one of the teachers that died was a cousin of one of our sargents. Ok, I understand better now.
