Reason #ohIforget I love living here: my neighbor came over to borrow my dryer, since his crapped out several weeks ago. He was going to replace it but then his boiler died and heat is a bigger priority than laundry at this point. I like being able to help! I loaned him my space heater too.

Also, msbelle?? Nice job! Lily Allen's Fuck You Very Much always amuses me for a cool-down. But I'm cranky that way.

Oh, I didn't ruin my Director's life. I ruined someone else's life. Or so he keeps loudly proclaiming. To put it briefly, things... escalated.

I did tell my manager today that he's not allowed to tell me to work on my visibility for at least a couple of quarters.

Good on you, msbelle. I got back into my workout today too, although I only did half of it before I collapsed dramatically on my mat feeling sorry for myself.

But then I spent an hour and a half hauling firewood by hand because my woodcart is broken. So I think I'm good.

Now I just have to decide if I'm going to Hobbiton or not.

Have I mentioned that I had a good day today? I got a decent night's sleep for the first time in days, work was steady instead of OMG busy or OMG slow, no one asked me for things that don't exist, and we had a charity bake sale, so hallo, sugar high.

Only downside was that I didn't get a neat title, like Life Ruiner.
