Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

A little bauble I think Jilli and quite a few other Buffistae would be VERY interested in: [link]

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That is adorable.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I have a vested interest in that bauble, Scrappy, since thanks to Allyson, sometimes I are one. Also, best thoughts to your mom.

Sleeeep is gooood. I'm glad you got enough, sumi.

Snow is pretty. Over there.

Woot! for a good night, 'suela. And have fun at the dog show.

Get-through-it-ma, Burrell. And way to go, meara!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Thanks Liese, thanks Beverly. I'm currently testing whether or not GABA makes a dang bit of difference if I'm not trying to go to bed. I think maybe it's helping. But my family? So not helping, not a one of them. Oy!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Thing I will not say to my uncle on FB, in the interest of family harmony:

That Ben Stein thing you're posting? Mostly bullshit, not in response to the White House saying "holiday trees" instead of "Christmas trees", and Ben Stein is fucking insane, in case you haven't noticed.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Burrell--I feel you. I decided not to wake up at midnight (or stay up until) for work, instead to wait until the last task would be completed at 6:00AM. Which is getawaywithable, but not optimal. Just--I don't want to be up at one in the morning and then up again at six.

So I was up at 5:30 with panic attack and heart pounding instead.

Work stuff was okay, but that pointless adrenaline dump stayed with me for a while.

Weird to be active on a Sunday, and I can't help feeling I'm wasting a low-headache day, but the latest I can pdo next weekend's visit is Thursday afternoon, and if the gap between visits is too small, it's just more complicated and less useful.

Man, I just tried to use Shazam to ID a song on Graham Norton, and then 1) The icon was there, but the app wasn't--so I reinstalled 2) the new version refused to ID the song, but instead told me I was watching Conan, 3) so I tried to give it a crap review (Sound Hound IDed it just fine), but Google won't let you do that anymore without linking to a G+ account and using your "real name"

But--my sister's Christmas present is all done (better if the Greendale tee shirt shows up before I go home)--a book she asked for, one telling you how to be a better pain in the ass (I did buy myself a copy), and a Troy and Abed mug.

And I have all the pieces for my wedding outfit, including two shades of pink tulle (I almost went with organza, but tulle is economical) and dress tape, and I hope that will be enough to affix the fabric around the neckline.

Now let me go put the choker together.

And, damn, I shouldn't be allowed to shop ever, because the dress is a UK size 8, and I am only kinda that on a good day. Today is good day, and hopefully next Saturday is a good day too.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

UK 8 is definitely very different. I wish, ita, you had more low headache days.

I was up late last night working on a presentation. Now I'm making gingebread. Then pumpkin muffins. Then cinnamon chocolate bread.

Noah had a project board since he's "Star of the Week" so I took the supplies I bought yesterday and put most of it together (the boarder etc). He helped lay out pictures, which I glued on and he put his name on it. I labelled all of the pics and he decorated with foam stars. It was 20% him, 80% me. Thank god they don't let kinders do science fairs or he'd have an awesome project courtesy of me. I need help.

So so so tired.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

This Saints-Giants football game is bizarre.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

If I bought solar powered led Christmas lights, like these [link] they should be perfectly safe to wrap around the branches of my camphor tree, right?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Kat makes me tired. That's a lot to be doing in a day.
