Conversation tonight with Matilda...
Matilda: My friend Marley is going to
France
for Christmas!
Me: Lucky girl! How exciting for her.
Matilda: And my friend Angelika is also going away for Christmas. I don't remember where. No, I remember - Germany.
Me: Lucky Angelika. France and Germany are actually right next to each other.
Matilda: They're like friends!
Me: Uh. Well, actually they've had a lot of wars between them.
Matilda: Awwwww! My friends better watch out!
Did we ever say happy birthday to amych on here? Happy birthday, amych!
The dog I rescued is no longer listed on the local website. I might call tomorrow and see if he got adopted or if he was given to another rescue group.
Happy Birthday, amych!!
I want a serious massage like that, Dana. Jealous. :)
Many happy returns, amych!
Happy birthday, amych!
Also, 'suela, your job... sigh. So aggravating, I'm sure.
About when do you think I won't be startled by Leslie Hope? It's been forever and I'm still side-eying her image...
ita, whenever I see her at yoga I have to do a double/quadruple take. When her hair was long it was extra weird.
I have hemmed 4 pairs of pants and I still have one pair to go. None of these pants are mine. I feel like hemming other people's pants is an act of love. Doing it while trying to feed one twin dinner and finish his homework which requires that I stop, read a story, create a storyboard and then encourage him to draw is like a superhuman act.
In other news, I'm sucking at my buffista secret santa (am waiting for payday), but I have wrapped at least a few gifts each day. It's pretty enjoyable to go slow and not been all HULK SMASH WRAP GIFT!
