Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

WOOOOOO, Scrappy!!! I knew you could do it.

OK, I didn't think Chocolate Death Stars would stop the thread!

Unless the apocalypse came while I was elsewhere on the internet, and you have all been RAPTURED and I am talking to an empty internet! QUICK, REASSURE ME! I WORK FROM HOME, YOU COULD ALL BE GONE!

[ETA: Ok, fine. Whew. You're all still here. THIS TIME.]

Congrats, Scrappy! That's awesome!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Yay Scrappy!

So the only phone call this morning was from my dad because Mom is having back pain and Dad can't figure out how to get the folks to bring her meds. I don't understand why he didn't say anything at 9AM when the med tech showed up, though.

Sheesh. He calls me, I tell him to push the button, and then I go call the front desk.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woo Scrappy! I knew you could do it.

Those chocolate Death Stars look like something I would not be able to eat without making a huge mess..

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Congrats, Scrappy! That's awesome.

Consuela, sounds like achingly small bits of progress. Fingers crossed it continues.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Wahoo Scrappy!

Ah, this is what I need: a couple of cookies and a nice long Narnia/Torchwood crossover.

Oooooooh. Do you have the link handy?

It's on the AO3, if you go to the Narnia fandom page it's like the second story, by Burntcopper.

TBH, it had quite a number of typos (it was a NANO project and posted without beta), but the Pevensies are all deadly and unflappable, and I found it entertaining to watch Jack Harkness try to figure out how they got to be so competent.

Thanks, I'll look it up! I could use a dose of the Pevensies being all deadly and unflappable.

So last night I came home to find a very large box on our doorstep, which turned out to contain a bunch of picture books from my aunt & uncle & cousins, for Rose. Not only did they choose and collect all the books they loved when the girls (my cousins) were young -- around 40 books! -- they signed them all when the girls were home for Thanksgiving. It was honestly one of the loveliest and most thoughtful baby gifts we've received, and I got SO excited about reading all these great books with Rose. So cool.
