And pretty young (ish) too. I was surprised.

Weirdly, when I read this:
Dennis Farina, a onetime Chicago cop who as a popular actor played a cop on "Law & Order," has died, his publicist told FOX411.
my thought was "how long are you 'his publicist' once he dies"? Is that a set time you're covered for, do you get paid for a while from his estate?
Anything to not think of people in my parents' generation but younger than them dying.
My old boss apparently (der) purposely included me in a lunch invite today. I thought it was a holdover from before, and never accepted. After I made my incoherent defense of his goatee ("before it was 'grrr' but now it's 'laaaa!') he actually pressed me on it.
So I'll go. In a minute.
OMG y'all I am so whiny about spending this money for a new A/C. I do not wanna at all AT ALL. I need to shift this from bitterness to some sort of action plan to make the money back asap.
1st babystep was not going out for lunch today. So I am gonna back that $7, right there. Only $6993 more to go. wah!
My dogs know very few commands. Daisy knows off, your chair, your bed, and budge up.
Well, I say they don't know them. Bluebell knows them. It's just her response is to go limp and refuse to move like she's a 1960s protester.
Sitting is out of the question. Greyhounds just don't sit, at least not comfortably.
Ugh, it's my day off and am realizing that I failed to get together a list for the ED of people to invite to boss lady's farewell pizza party (that is actually our staff meeting). And knowing him, he didn't put together a list of his own and reach out. "Party" is tomorrow. I feel like a giant heel. Sent out some last minute emails but this whole thing from the beginning has felt super awkward: "come say goodbye, now scram so we can have our staff meeting".
It's a boy!
It's just her response is to go limp and refuse to move like she's a 1960s protester.
Ha! Rose does the same thing. I often tell her she would make Gandhi proud.
I have to admit, what Charlie actually knows is that if I ask him to sit and he does, there will frequently be a treat in it for him.
