Natter 71: Someone is wrong on the Internet
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Ugh, it's my day off and am realizing that I failed to get together a list for the ED of people to invite to boss lady's farewell pizza party (that is actually our staff meeting). And knowing him, he didn't put together a list of his own and reach out. "Party" is tomorrow. I feel like a giant heel. Sent out some last minute emails but this whole thing from the beginning has felt super awkward: "come say goodbye, now scram so we can have our staff meeting".
It's a boy!
It's just her response is to go limp and refuse to move like she's a 1960s protester.
Ha! Rose does the same thing. I often tell her she would make Gandhi proud.
I have to admit, what Charlie actually knows is that if I ask him to sit and he does, there will frequently be a treat in it for him.
Chet knows sit, lie down, leave it, shake, back up and seems to know the concept of "stay," although he doesn't care to practice it.
Gunnar knows sit, down, off, shake, drop it, and crate. How well he does depends on how excited he is.
Fenris knows sit, down, and shake. But he only obeys if he wants to. He has his own agenda.
Thor knows sit, down, stay, come, and shake. He's a good boy about them all too.
I am disappointed, Aimee! Which I realize is ridiculous. I am ALSO disappointed that my cousin had her baby last Friday instead of our grandmother's birthday (last Wednesday) OR the Future King's birthday.
re: baby--I wonder if the royal family sends snarky messages to each other saying "Congratulations on getting bumped down the ladder another step!" or "Hey, old number eight, you left this position a mess!"
The first thought that comes to my head is how relieved the Fictional Suri Cruise of Suri's Burn Book will be that it's a boy and not a girl to outshine her.
