The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What area of town?

Well, I want to see you if it works out, and have lunch with someone who will be working at 1000 Louisiana Street, but other than that I don't really care (or know, since I haven't been to Houston since I was a kid)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Louisiana Street is downtown. I'm way the hell out, so I will come to you.

Downtown is fine in that it's centrally located, but if you're interested in stuff like the museums and the zoo, most of that is in the Museum District. There's also the Galleria Area. Any of those places will have bad traffic at bad traffic times.

You looking for a big hotel? Bed and breakfast type? I don't have much personal experience, but I can certainly tell you about nearby cool stuff and ease of transportation.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

If Jenny is filling Elizabth's wackaloon quotient, I wonder who they will find to fill Joy Bahar's straight talking quotient.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sorry your review was not good Jesse. More fodder for job searching?

Oh, I mean, it was fine -- small raise, small bonus -- but it just totally points out that I need a new job, because I don't want to do the things that are job growth here! I want to do different things! In a different job! Job search is the worst.

FINALLY called about a downspout replacement, and this time I have an actual time that they'll come out to make a bid, so it won't get 'lost' again.

Now need to compile garage door places, so I can finally start using my garage. Couple people had names, have to track that down. Will probably end up being where my August mortgage payment goes. (Because of the timing of all of this, I don't have an August payment. Last on old mortgage was this month, first of new is September.)

(Note, this is my attempt to not 'waste' a vacation day. Because I fee like if I'm taking a vacation day, I Ought To Do Something, be it vacationing or accomplishing something needed. As opposed to sitting on my ass & noodling around because it is too damn hot to want to even attempt the Outside.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I have a whole twitter list full of people talking about tossing hot pockets into the deep fryer.

Now I'm thinking about how good that must taste!

Unhealthy as hell, but probably tasty.

They have then gone on to talk about rolling a pop tart in dough mix and frying those.
