Seriously, what does that mean? I didn't read any of the testimony (because my head needs to be in the sand sometimes). Did he throw a chunk of it at the guy or something?
At some point in the fight, Martin hit Zimmerman's head against the sidewalk. I think there was differing testimony about how much force he used -- the back of Zimmerman's head was bleeding from it, though. Thus, he used the sidewalk as a weapon, and so he was armed.
I took an advil and I ate and my head still hurts and then it really hurts if I get up and move around. I am taking a hot shower and going back to bed.

FWIW, I don't believe this. We only have GZ's word this occurred and TM had no DNA on his hands from GZ. I think most of GZ's wounds were self-inflicted.
As i understand it TM also had no wounds or damage to his hands at all which, while not impossible, calls a whole lot of GZ's story into question.
What does "armed with the sidewalk" even mean? I mean, really?
What it means is that the defense attorney was setting it up for an appeal on the grounds of lousy counsel.

I agree. The wounds were very superficial, and Zimmerman wasn't treated for a concussion, as far as I know.
count me in as another human barometer! the weather is turning here and my head, neck and shoulder are throbbing.
Popped in the nose and hit his head on the water meter is a lot more consistent with the physical evidence than "head bashed 25-30 times against the sidewalk"
You know, physical evidence.
Yes, they argued that he "weaponized the sidewalk".
They do realize that's not like "weaponized uranium", right?? Just because something has become part of a phrase doesn't mean you can substitute words into it willy-nilly!!
