Natter 71: Someone is wrong on the Internet
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Damn skippy. I don't even like straight-legged jeans (mostly on me, though, because of how I am shaped; people with different shapes can rock the hell out of straight-legged jeans). I just bought 2 pairs of boot-cut jeans, and I want to marry them. Last night a friend asked, "Are those your new jeans? They make your ass look AMAZING!"
Friends like that are worth their weight in rubies.
Franny wears jeggings, I do not.
I did not blow myself up, but I'm not sure I fixed the problem, either. We shall see.
The redeeming feature of jeggings and straight legged jeans is that tunics and longer sweaters seem to be coming into style along with them. I can buy the latter and wish non-me wearers of the former well. Today I ordered this in dark blue [link] , this in red [link] , and this in green [link] . That should replace a few things that have frayed beyond repair.
Cockatoos hanging upside down from the power lines...
meara, I was scared of that the first time I tried it, but no fireballs yet.
Yeah, I still can't see the pilot light, though. Which normally I can. But then I'm like "Maybe I'm crazy, am I even looking in the right place? None of this seems right..." I went through all the "relight the pilot light" instructions on it (it's got an electric starter)...who knows.
I did figure out why my heat wasn't going on in any room but my own, though. Turns out when you have it set to OFF, it doesn't work. Shocking, I know. (Each room has its own thermostat, and only mine was on!)
I'm sorry about the dad-issues, sarameg, but the rest of your trip sounds terrific.
Kat, insent.
