The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I really hope he was micro-chipped so that his people will get him back.

I really really hope so. He didn't have a collar on him, but he obviously hadn't been roaming the streets very long.

If I was a year or so farther along with Charlie, I would have considered asking them to call me if no one claimed him, but I can't consider it now.

Because books.

That face! I hope his people find him. And then fence their yard.

Sounds like the time someone sent me a screenshot. Via fax.

That is AWESOME.

Our wings are not tired.

You did the right thing by getting him off the streets! We can't take in All the Pets even though it is my retirement plan to be the craxy lady with All the Pets.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Belated birthday wishes, sarameg!

And Happy Birthday, sox! May the toe heal well and quickly.

Dog new a soft touch when he saw one, Lee. I do hope he's chipped and his people find him quickly. Was Charlie terribly upset?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

even though it is my retirement plan to be the craxy lady with All the Pets.

OH, we have similar 401(k)s!

I plan to take in elderly animals from the rescue that brought me Bailey as soon as mac is adultified. I hope she is still doing rescue stuff then, because she knows so many people at the local shelters that they can identify elderly dogs and cats off their time out lists.

Charlie was very confused when he started following us home, and then not really happy that Dog was in HIS yard, but he actually handled it all very well.

My shoes today aren't sparkly, but they are super comfortable, and I got them at Zulilly's 4th of July sale, so they were really cheap [link]

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

A dog that cheerful and good-natured? He'll be fine, even if he's not chipped.

My Nemesis at the last job used to print out files people emailed to her, and then scan them, and then email them to me. Just to make sure that I couldn't use them in any way.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

It's 90 degrees (feels like 102) here. It's pretty much all sandals, all the time: [link]
