'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I packed more boxes for a friend. This is the first time I've seen triple-stacked bookcases, sigh. She's getting evicted on the 11th, with no place to go, yet. You wouldn't think that a bedroom could hold so much stuff.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You can always walk him through Pet Co or whatever your preferred pets-allowed store is, if he can be polite for that. They seem pretty tolerant and you can just take him back outside if he won't settle down. I think there's even a term for that, something training, but of course I cannot remember it.

Right, dishes, I am not actually to the point where I don't need to wash some every time I turn around yet. Better get on that.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

His obedience class was actually at Petco. We go there a lot.

The meal for barking offer still stands though.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am going to move my food prepping into the living room so I can kept watching the day old tennis match.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, terrible Nicolas Cage movie. If you're going to set yourself on Mardi Gras Day in New Orleans, you should at least know that it's not a "business day". Most businesses? Closed. Also, most French Quarter streets? Jammed.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Now there's a thrilling chase scene involving the Algiers Ferry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh hey Theo, I emailed your profile address the other day. Did you get it?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And now they're filming at the abandoned Six Flags in New Orleans East, but calling it "the Fairground", which is the name of the horse racing track.

What movie is this, Dana?

Turns out my laundry situation was not so dire, I just had forgotten where I put most of my work pants last week. But probably best I stay on top of it anyhow. And I really need to organize my wardrobe, but that isn't happening today.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

The meal for barking offer still stands though.

Too bad I'm out of range. I'm an excellent subject for that sort of thing as I am very practiced at ignoring excited dogs until they calm down THEN giving them attention. There are some dog owners of my acquaintance who are amazed at how well their dogs behave around me - because they either think the jumping and barking is cute or they simply do not comprehend the principles of operant conditioning.

I think it helps that I tend to picture my aunt's lovely calm Standard Poodle, Jane, while I wait for the excitedness to subside.
