I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Note to self: chocolate egg cream = deliciousness ∴ drink them more often.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

In other animal news, this is hilarious: Lion thwarted in attempt to eat tasty baby, who mocks him with her mere presence. [link]

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

OK, that is some proper big cat behavior.

And I am genuinely relieved that it had a happy ending, I was worried what I was going to see for a minute.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

That is screamingly funny.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hi all. Happy 4th for those who celebrate. I managed to get a bad cold but am otherwise enjoying our trip to San Francisco. We got to see David, JZ, Matilda and P-C. Tonight we watch fireworks from the S.S. Jerimiah O'Brien. Today is Monica's birthday so I got her a lt. Uhurah bath rob from Think Geek, which she loves.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, poor lion, with the pawing and the rolling and the head-bonk against the glass.

Bleh. As the maintenance guy never called back, I re-attacked the sink, this time with a plastic snake from the hardware store. It dragged out clump after clump of horrifically smelly goo for about half an hour until it got too bent and snarly. And now the U-bend section won't reattach snugly, so I need to take it to the hardware store and ask what-up. So, sinkless for the moment, but that's really no different than the entire previous week, and hopefully when everything's all reconnected properly it'll actually drain without all that glop gumming it up.

Later, up to Tank Hill with Matilda to drink hot cocoa and watch the fireworks, and after we're home and she's in bed, beer.

I'm curious as to how the reportage established that the baby was in fact a tasty one.
