Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

If I had a gun, I would like a purple one!

Here's another option, Jesse: [link]

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Especially since my support group doesn't meet in the summer!

Um, you know we are here 12 months out of the year, right? Unless you all are voices in my head.

Thanks, Ginger.

le nubian, that's what's so great about you guys! Always here. It's just my Alzheimer's support group that doesn't meet again until September.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Once a delivery driver left the keys in his vehicle in front of the Home, and she happened to be there and got in and drove off. She didn't get far because she didn't know where she was, so she stopped at the end of the driveway, thank goodness. The look on his face was priceless. Bet he never did that again.

That's both scary and funny.

I think it's really deep how some people took the time out of a "Johnny Depp is an ass" post to criticise Armie Hammer for having a dumb name, and to suggest he change it because it makes them laugh.

Have most people never heard of Armand Hammer? Maybe I just think he's famous because I always thought his name was funny.

I thought Armie Hammer's name was funny since I heard of him from that Snow White movie, but I'd never point it out to the guy. "Hi, you help deodorize my fridge, is that weird?". Espcially since he has the sexiest voice since EVER. I'd dig him unanabashedly if his name was Always Tampax.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My sister and I contemplated microchipping our mom. She didn't just want to wander around, she wanted to DRIVE. Once a delivery driver left the keys in his vehicle in front of the Home, and she happened to be there and got in and drove off. She didn't get far because she didn't know where she was, so she stopped at the end of the driveway, thank goodness. The look on his face was priceless. Bet he never did that again.

Have I told everyone about my best friend's dad (in advanced stages of Parkinson's) setting off the fire alarm in his managed care facility late at night when he was sneaking out a fire exit trying to escape "them"? If I remember correctly it was the responding firefighters that caught him on his way off the grounds.

So with all that's going down at work, I need weekend coverage, and the obvious choice to me is paying our current trained intern to do spot watering on Sundays. ED seems set on calling on volunteers (who are retired, rich, and vacationing in their Italian villa right now). I'm at the point of using my raise to pay the chica out of my own pocket, just so I don't have to come in for an hours work and an hours driving round trip. It's like pulling teeth making the ED understand volunteer capabilities and availability.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

There's an Armand Hammer Museum here in LA. I'm immature enough that it still makes me smile.
