I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We just met a set of neighbors. I have not been pressured to drink that much since college.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's too bad, it sounds like it would be pretty tasty.

My experiment in Earl Grey. Frozen. was pretty delicious, but it's so hot that popsicles melt faster than I can eat them. Unsettling.

Speaking of Charlie being cute, this afternoon after I let him out to pee, Bubba was waiting for us in the garage, and Charlie ran over to him and licked his head.

That is super adorable!

Our wings are not tired.

I'm so thrilled that Charlie is working out so well for you and Bubba!

Well, you know where to go after a bad day.

Bubba WOULD like being licked on the head by a dog, naturally.

I have vacuumed and mopped every floor. Two margaritas. Washed the futon couch cover and throw. And just took my third shower of the day.

Loki is currently curled up next to me, headtilting into my boobs for attention and refurring the futon.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It is still too warm here to do any real cleaning, so I have all the windows open and am hoping inside will cool down now that outside has.

Maybe some cleaning will happen after dark, but until then I am puttering.

Me too! Charlie still has a ways to go, especially in terms of other people, but all in all it has been a very good thing, except for Dita, who is still hiding in the bedroom. I have hope for her though.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The only things I decluttered in my house today were the fridge and my iTunes. sad. I did take a handful of things off my dresser, but really, if you saw the state of the top of my dresser. it is like taking a handful of stuff off a trash heap.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

The real news is that it's supposed to be 85 here every day (yesterday hit 87!!!).

Ahahahahaha.

I promised Brendon a trip to New Orleans to celebrate his 21st. He is a big jazz fan and as a responsible mom I had to let him know that the jazz is best appreciated with cocktail in hand in a proper jazz club. So I expect that will happen this fall.

YAY! Can we all go out to dinner or something? Or to the clubs on Frenchmen?

We just met a set of neighbors. I have not been pressured to drink that much since college.

Dana, where did you go to college? I am curious. Was it in LA/New Orleans?

Absolutely, Nora. No set plan yet, but getting together will be a must.
