Our wings are not tired.

Laura, you can NOT have a 21 year old

Part of the thing with being in this community for a dozen years or so is the whole watching each other's kids grow, marriages, career changes, and so forth. It's nice.

I promised Brendon a trip to New Orleans to celebrate his 21st. He is a big jazz fan and as a responsible mom I had to let him know that the jazz is best appreciated with cocktail in hand in a proper jazz club. So I expect that will happen this fall.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Laura, you can NOT have a 21 year old. Wasn't it just last week he was duct taping his brother's head?

Am I the only one thinking that there is really no age limit for a guy duct taping his brother's head?

Our wings are not tired.

His little brother could totally take him down now. Bobby has about an 80 pound weight advantage. Of the muscular variety.

But this time they would have to deal with the tape removal themselves.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Wasn't it just last week he was duct taping his brother's head?

As if a 21-year-old wouldn't do that.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

My sister just informed me that my niece has her learner's permit. I am FREAKING OUT.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Lee, I just got up from a nap. I expect any yard time will actually be nap time as well, because I do have a hammock and I don't have a/c.

Oooh, a hammock sounds so nice. I just spent several hours in the sun (it's 83 or more here, depending on what weather app you look at! That's hella hot for us!) and had to come home and shower. I'm also washing the clothing I was wearing, though contemplating whether it's as flattering as I thought, after seeing a picture someone already posted of me. Eek. I got fans blowing on me, and I"m tempted to not leave the house again until the sun goes down, but then I'd miss the dyke march.

Our wings are not tired.

We did move! And no, java, since this is a different apartment than the original one, we are microwaveless. But we also have zero counter and cabinet space, so we're looking at a really small one.

Would one of those short chrome rolling carts work in your space? They're a great place for a microwave. And Steve still has his if you need it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I tried to nap, but my pets and my brain didn't want to let me.

I want a hammock. I wonder if Costco sells them.

Our wings are not tired.

They do, Lee. As well as Orchard Supply Hardware.
