Oooh, a hammock sounds so nice. I just spent several hours in the sun (it's 83 or more here, depending on what weather app you look at! That's hella hot for us!) and had to come home and shower. I'm also washing the clothing I was wearing, though contemplating whether it's as flattering as I thought, after seeing a picture someone already posted of me. Eek. I got fans blowing on me, and I"m tempted to not leave the house again until the sun goes down, but then I'd miss the dyke march.

We did move! And no, java, since this is a different apartment than the original one, we are microwaveless. But we also have zero counter and cabinet space, so we're looking at a really small one.
Would one of those short chrome rolling carts work in your space? They're a great place for a microwave. And Steve still has his if you need it.

It really does. sadly, the only one at Costco was a nylon camping hammock, which was not what I wanted and expensive to boot, and OSH had fabric hammocks, but no stands.
Maybe lowe's or target tomorrow morning.

Now I feel super old. My eldest was born in 1990. And despite the fact that she still isn't talking to me, I did get a text that she got into the Physical Therapy Assistant program she has been trying to get into for two years. I'm so thrilled for her and really hope the bf doesn't screw it up for her.

Hammocks made of rope are what I find most comfortable. Fabric blocks the breeze too much for my taste. what I actually have is a hammock chair, which suits me fine, but being able to stretch out in a full hammock would be a nice option.
Dogs will poke you in the butt while you're lying in a hammock, if recent experience is any guide. So be ready for that, I guess, Lee.
Looks like Target's hammocks and stands are mostly available online only, while Lowes is more likely to allow you some in-store give-me-a-hammock-today instant gratification.
