Storms came early, while I was all afternoon in meetings in windowless rooms with the Mission God. Working on keeping my name familiar! Or I was buried in code, oblivious. Why does EVERY.FUCKING.THING have to happen at once? OTOH, I work most efficiently in crisis mode.
I think way too many bugs got in while I was patiently waiting for Loki to decide to go out on the deck*. Pumpkin is bouncing off the walls.
* seriously think he must remember getting bit or stung by something out there even though he never had a freakout that I saw. Ever since the Bump (which has gone way down) he's hinky about it.

I really hate the promos for White House down. Weird visceral reaction of YOU CANNOT DO THAT EVEN FOR PRETEND. Also that movie that had B'more as a casualty of DC nukes. I can't even.
Pumpkin went FLYING out the window, indignant at the WET. She is furiously washing as far from the window as she can get.
WRT Salsa Fresca, I almost added a slightly not-quite ripe avocado to the food processor, but it felt like too much work.
Also, at my friend J's BBQ, her brother took Jalapenos, stuffed them with cheese wrapped in bacon and grilled them. DEAR GOD DELISH. Not hard work, but definitely delicious.
Oh god, my brother does that. Not jalapeños, usually some other green chile, hatch if he can get it. Yeah.
