I have now ascertained that the aggressively loud and repetitive birds are cardinals. (I can hear them over the drone of 2 ACs and 3 fans INSIDE my house.) Wonder how long I'll retain this information.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

IOW, if a legally married CA couple moves to Utah, they will not get the benefits from the feds.

Oy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Wait--billytea--what would happen if a mantis shrimp punched reality?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Wait--billytea--what would happen if a mantis shrimp punched reality?

Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Poor reality. It used to be so whole. Now it's all punctured.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday to my wife! (Please don't forget to eat cake today with all the cleaning)

flea, I am traveling to my 30th college reunion. Technically it is a reunion open to everybody who attended Kenyon in the 80s, as it was formed through Kenyon's K80s FB group.

Anyway, I took the train to Sacramento where I met my friend Alex (best man at my weddings, and best friend since high school). We flew (through delays and reschedulings) to Houston, then on to Pittsburgh where my college rooomate Chip collected us. (It this sounds familiar Alex and I went to Chip's wedding last summer, so this part of the trip is the same.)

Tonight we will meet up with a large batch of my favorite Kenyon people and then tomorrow we will drive down to the school itself (4+ hours drive as I recall). Then is the frolicking and the beer truck.

I have already promised to Prancercise down the Middle Path of my college.

With a few exceptions (not counting Buffistae) I will literally be seeing all of my very closest friends at one of the most beautiful and memory bedazzled places I've ever been. On my birthday.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Happy Birthday, JZ!! Yes, I also endorse cake for you!
