I may be wrong, but I think the redistricting in TX might be worse than the ID law.
I hope some people stage multiple day flash mobs at centers to get IDs.

Redistricting is tricky, I think.
Edit: I mean, conceptually, I don't know anything about what's going on in TX.
They are redistricting the fuck out of Texas.
For example, Austin, TX, is split across five or six congressional districts, so that Democrats can't get a majority in any of them.
What a push pull of emotions. Yay for DOMA and Prop 8 decisions. Boo for Voters Rights decision. Yay Wendie. Boo Texas.
They are redistributing the BLUE out of Texas.
I don't suppose there's any chance of the discrimination being so glaring and noxious that it gets a bunch of the parties responsible booted out come the next election in spite of the gerrymandering?
Nope. That's the whole point of it.

So did anyone else in Chicago get an emergency alert for flooding on their iPhone this morning? It sounds just like the emergency broadcasting noise they play on the radio. I got one around 5:00 a.m. and I didn't know what the noise was and where it was coming from so I went back to sleep. Then I got one in my car-my iPhone played the noise over my car stereo while I was driving to work, so at first I thought I was hearing the emergency broadcast noise on the radio.
Then my boss asked me about it so I finally figured out what happened.
