I woke up, stumbled into the kitchen to make coffee, and the foam sliding door (we're poor, yo) into the sunroom/back porch was open. It's NEVER open; that's where we keep the dog food.
So I grab a couple of knives and check out the house and the dog (who I have come to reluctantly like, although he Has Issues) is crashed out belly-up in the living room. One advantage of his barkiness is that he IS a hella good watchdog, and if someone were hiding in a closet I hadn't already checked, no way he wouldn't have barked his head off or be snoozing, so I put the knives away, and grumble at the husband in head...and promptly try to pour cereal in coffee filter. Oy.
Then I'm checking FB and my MiL#2 who is very nice has one of those "if you value your friends, cut and paste this status for an hour things." Which, not my thing, but she is a sweet older lady, so whatever, BUT the first comment on her status was "I don't know how to paste."
I am a horrible person, but I just about fell outta my chair in hysterics. It was...sublimely something. I don't know. I haven't finished my coffee yet.
Anyway. So...morning!
