But swears by it for what? What is the differentiator in such a saturated market? I'd imagine most people would be happy with a Windows phone. But who'd be unhappy without one?
He's not especially swayed by marketing and ads. I think he was just looking for something new to compare to the iOS--and he told me the Windows phone was even more user friendly than the iPhone. I was never tempted by it. I'm more swayed by personal recommendations, even though I find Apple's ads very pretty.
Man, JZ, that's beautiful and you are making me cry a little.
Congrats, zuisa! That's awesome news! Also, glad to see you again.
I was interested in the GS3 before the ads started coming out because I follow gadget news, but I'm not gonna lie, the ads make a pretty compelling case. (And then I went to the store and played around with one and OMGSOPRETTY. My iPhone looks so puny and clunky in comparison.)
JZ, I love that story. I can't believe Em is 8 though. No way that much time has passed.
Check out this xkcd: Two Years
It's about his fiance (now wife) being diagnosed with cancer two years ago.
Happy Birthday, Em!
I'd say I can't believe your Em is 8, but since my Em is 13 I have too much evidence that time has passed.
I've been toying with the idea of the GS3 too, since I need a new phone, and it is indeed OMG pretty,
I have concerns about adding that to my household of Macs and ipads, but I still might make the switch.
it's kinda minimal. maybe too abstract for me. making an existential statement?
and the edit correction makes me look crazy.

Heh.
Lack of caffeine + html = problems.
Forgot to say Happy Birthday, Em!
