Happy birthday, Teppy!

Pete looked horrible when we picked up up from the airport last night, and was pretty obviously running a fever. But that broke sometime in the night, and while he still feels wretched, he's at least at HOME and I can keep an eye on him.

Poor Pete. It usually feels better to be home when you're ill than anywhere else, so I'm really glad he could get home. I hope he heals up soon.

And what could possibly make someone suffering food poisoning and getting over a migraine feel better? Hey, let's catch up on all 5 episodes of Hannibal that he hasn't seen yet. Which, once he assured me wouldn't ramp up the nausea he's still getting twinges of, I was all for. Because apparently I will take any excuse to rewatch Hannibal.

I think being home and taken care of by you is helping Pete more than anything. The power of home. I'm glad he's recovering. Poor guy.

Shit, she would try to set me up with the undertaker if she could! But they are keeping her another night. So we'll see! Of course my poor mother is running a conference Mon-Weds of this week, so she's freaking out a little. I just snapped at her once, but I think it was effective.
