Ugh, that's a bummer, Jilli.

Where are you going, Burrwll? Any chance you are passing through HMB?
Poor Pete.
Jesus, migraine AND food poisoning? That sounds like much too much. Like misery overload.
Oh, man, poor Pete! That sounds awful anytime, but to suffer that when you are supposed to be signing stuff for fans must have extra sting.
Yikes, sorry to hear about Pete's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Hope he's feeling better now?
Timelies all!
Hope Pete feels better soon!
Poor Pete!
So my grandmother's still in the hospital, so I'm going to see her now, and the family is still getting together this afternoon. Good times.
Yesterday wore me out, but was a very nice day, what with driving up to Gudanov's to pick up an old computer he was getting rid of. (Sorry that my timing was inopportune for a more relaxed visit.) I had great weather almost all the way, and found out that my car got nearly 35 mpg over the drive - that's better highway mileage than when it was brand new 8 years ago!
Me being me, I spotted a Brazillian steakhouse from the highway on the drive up though Springfield, and managed to squeak in an hour before their closing time. Being on the Atkins diet and an all-you-can-eat for $21 steakhouse are definitely a match made in carnivore heaven, and my extremely friendly waiter was perhaps the hottest man I've met in the past couple of years. (Seriously, I considered leaving my phone number on the check!)
I had just about the nerdiest birthday shindig last night EVER. A bunch of our friends met us at the bar, and there was a lot of drinking. I got a cool DC comics coffee mug, Avengers duct tape, a pirate lexicon, and other entertaining stuff.
When we got home, since it was after midnight, Tim let me open the box from the 3D printing company. I now have a mobius bacon strip (INFINITE BACON!) printed in sandstone, and a Klein bottle, printed in nylon. So. Freaking. COOL.
I, uh, also have a bit of a headache. I think cider #4 was a bad decision.
