Xander: I do have Spaghetti-os. Set 'em on top of the dryer and you're a fluff cycle away from lukewarm goodness. Riley: I, uh, had dryer-food for lunch.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

No one has mentioned that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly named their child...North West?

Because books.

I JUST read that. I think I almost expected them to choose something wackier, though.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Please please PLEASE let the middle name be Bynorth.

There's a ton of academics, which, to me, is a major distinguishing factor from daycare.

Montessouri is a specific teaching method, it's not at all a daycare. From my perspective as a parent, the distinguishing factor is that preschool ends at 2:30 and daycare goes until 6. So even though the place Aeryn goes does teach letters and counting and all the standard pre-K stuff, it's a daycare because it goes all day.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I just read that and about horked up my coffee, and my IQ just dropped 20 points. WTFF, people?

Misha Collins named his boy West, which is fine, since I'm real sure his middle name isn't "Latitude" or "Facing" or "By Southwest."

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I can attest to the therapeutic value of watching a pile of kittens sleeping. If I hadn't had Harvey and his siblings during a very dark time when I was mad with grief, I do not know how I would have survived.

Actually, it's Animaxander. Seriously. Although ita will have to check my spelling.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And in other, also somewhat hilarious news, after insisting to my husband that of course we had sheets to fit the spare bed, it turns out that both sets of spare sheets are double, not queen.

My mother arrives at 1:30. Bed Bath and Beyond will be getting a visit from me.

Sheets! That's what I was going to do with my day off. Change and wash all the sheets. Thank you.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was just coming to post about North West! I DO NOT APPROVE.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, I put a little too much energy into appreciating Kaidence Donda, which is what I heard the name was yesterday. Which is to say, any energy at all.
