So you snake people aren't afraid of getting constricted, just of getting bit?
I'm not down with the constricting. I saw that video and that is all I could think of. I love hugs but from people, thank you. No snakes.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

As for cleaning and laundry, etc? Read the fucking labels and the machines. That's all I did, and have only ruined maybe 3 things in the wash since age 18. That should not be confusing.
This assumes the clothes have labels. Many of mine don't. This is the peril of secondhand clothing. (I grew up largely in hand me downs, and now shop mostly on eBay.)
That said, sorting laundry has never been my problem, and I rarely ruin clothing (Paul, on the other hand, has never figured out which care labels can be ignored, and which you need to keep in mind.) No, I was the one who was banned from doing laundry in my teens after I accidentally flooded the basement.
Which, hey, I took full advantage of, and would bring my clothing home with me during my college years, and let my mother have the joy of washing it.
I mean, I could do laundry, but if someone's banned you from their laundry room, yet wishes you to save money by not going to the laundromat...
Whenever she complained, I did point out to her that she's the one who put the ban in place.
THAT IS A BIG PINK FONT! WOW!
Thanks, guys!
eh, she could have lifted the ban had she wanted.
I flooded it ONE TIME! And it wasn't even that bad. It was just an oversuds incident. I accidentally put in too much laundry detergent, which I wouldn't have done again, but nooooo. My mother is stubborn, and did not believe I would learn from my mistake, and thought I'd ruin her washing machine or something.
I have NO idea how to prepare and cook vegetables. Aside from dump it in a pot and boil it until it's dead, which was my grandmother's/mother's technique and that's probably why I hate them. Instructions usually start with "cut the vegetable" as if that's not problematic.
And: Happy birthday, Plei!
I sort of gave up on Kay Graham's autobiography when she confessed that in college she was mystified by her fellow students who washed their cashmere sweaters - she had never even noticed that someone at her house was collecting her dirty clothes, washing them, and returning them to her closet. I mean, she obviously went on to accomplish great things, but I lost my sympathy for her at that point.
This assumes the clothes have labels.
And it assumes you can't learn. It's pretty easy to be on the conservative side about what will shrink and what will run, etc. Those are not mistakes that need to be made more than twice.

I'm a relatively experienced cook, and when I started with my CSA share even I had to Google image search some vegetables and then use How to Cook Everything as a guide.
But yeah, I have some friends who have never learned how to cook. The height of their ability is opening a can and heating something up. I've had them watch me, utterly baffled, as I made soup without a recipe. Like they don't even know how to go to there.
