OTOH, I made the prettiest pink birthday cake today...

Happy birthday!
I think I might've unbroke my sore shoulder. Naproxen today, modified stroke, and IT DOESN"T HURT. I might've snapped out of the cycle. Now, I push on the muscles, still sore but they don't hurt working or just being.
Nails done. Tomorrow, going away packing party (really, pizza and beer) for some work friends who live near me and who I will miss (along with their cats and kid. I'll have to sing Lola her Lola-lolls song one last time!) They are Cali kids, always knew they'd head back there. Matt got the perfect job opp in SF, Tif quit to go to animation school and stay home with her kid...yeah. Also, summer farewell to a couple of my friends on the block who have away gigs for the summers, and another who just travels all damn summer for her job and I rarely get to see her.
Summer begins here with goodbyes, but good ones.
