ita !, I love that arty envelope! So much.
it looks like everything you can see in a room is decor, and none of it looks like they are things that people love and acquire
Everything I own is like this! I don't understand spending money/using space for stuff you don't love just because it looks all HGTV in a room.

Our "decorating theme" is, approximately, "Hey, Look, An Antique Egg Incubator Came In To Work And I Brought It Home!"

You could be on American Pickers. "Hey, cool, an antique egg incubator! Would you sell that?"
I don't own a house. But my apartment is in a 120 year old house. The first floor was split length wise into two apartments. I lucked out and have the side with the front and back stair cases (I have the under part of the front stair case as my bedroom closet). My bathroom is part of the original kitchen. The back staircase doesn't lead to anything anymore and is my storage space. I have a bedroom, living area, kitchen and "eating" area that is just the cat tree and storage area. There's no overhead light and due to the positioning of the house, the covered entry and the house next door, there is very little natural light so it's dark and gloomy.
Nora, here's my usual plug for the very pricey but insanely decadent Chateau Tivoli:

Housing prices where I am are surprisingly high, but not too too high. My house has appreciated a lot in the 6 years I've had it.
But with 1000 square feet for just l'il ole me, it feels like a lot of space to store junk. However, just having one other person here can make it feel really small. My 2nd bedroom is called the guest room, but is really the laundry drying room most of its days.
Timelies all!
Congrats, Gud!
Our townhouse has 4 bedrooms, which are used as our bedroom, the guest bedroom, the computer room and the library.(Though we are an example of the phrase "We gave the books a room and now they want the whole house".)

But it no longer includes the driveway drill press. The lack is appalling.
Foot has been x-rayed. No results as yet. No karate today.
