Kat,
what Laura said. If I don't do this fast enough email profile addy and I'll hop to it.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

ita_! I'm glad there was a neuro hero. It really sucks that you needed one.
There's no need, Laura and le_n.
I am now dressed and wearing my red sparkle shoes - my dorothy shoes since they are the only thing you can see after I have my gown on. I also have on a Jason Wu dress that has pockets which means I can carry my keys AND take my cell phone!
Kat, only saw the edited and deleted bits but it seems sad, but yay for the reader dropout guy! Go him!
Big up to LinkedIn for pushing that system like they do. I'm assuming they're getting closer and closer to background noise, but I like the feeling of being endorsed, and I think it's more relevant than trying to find me on FaceBook
Yeah, except there's tons of people endorsing me for things they know nothing about professionally. Which is a little awkward.
Yay Dorothy shoes! My mom wore red shoes to her college graduation because she figured that was the only way her family would be able to spot her in the sea of black robes.
I only caught some of the shenanigans before deletia, Kat, but that sounds like a lot of fuckery (and what-the-fuckery) for sure.
We got the empty jacket until we returned the robes for high school. Got actual diplomas for college graduation, which I have to admit was much better. I don't remember the deal for grad school - I think we got empty jackets and we picked up our diplomas backstage right after because ensuring that they got the right diploma to the right person during the ceremony would have been impossible. I know I had to buy a robe because it is still in my closet.
Sanity check: can a woman who is 40 (i.e. me) wear this dress to her 26 year old half-sister's wedding? It fits like a dream, but, 40. [link]
(Note: I would stand up straight while wearing the dress.)
(I asked my other sister, the one you know, what I should do with my hair if I wore the dress, and she was like, "Fauxhawk." I could wear a dogcollar and spiky stilletos, too! Or not, since, Ohio wedding.)
Oh, forgot to tell y'all - I have timesheet available for the rest of the week, and last week's completed timesheet finally got approved, so I feel much better about all that.
Ugh Kat, only read with the redacted posts, but it seems like your student seriously fucked up. Not sure what her plans are for the ceremony, but I hope she keeps her head down and her pie hole shut. And that you can enjoy and celebrate the actual accomplishments of your other students.
flea,
I can't see the dress really well in that pic. It is young looking, but with the right accessories, I can't see what the problem is.
40 is the new 25.
