Sigh. Ah well, at least it is a familiar drill. The diabetes. Well, the meltdown too. Sorry for that.
None of my attempts at making Loki lose weight are working. Based on what I'm feeding them, Loki AND Pumpkin are on reduced chow. Yet Pumpkin isn't underfed and Loki is still fat.
Ugh msbelle.
Things I learned today: 1) Charlie the dog is much more likely to bark at people if I leave the windows open
2) the car dealership I bought my new car from was able to sell my old car very quickly,
3) The person they sold it to either doesn't believe in paying tolls on bay area bridges or doesn't understand how fasttrak works.
4) the car dealership I sold my old car to seems to maybe have fallen down on the paperwork side of things.
5) My workplace (in a broader sense, not my office) seems to have stepped in a certain amount of poo a few months back, in a way that might well have bad consequences for my workplace (especially in the narrow my particular office sense), at least according to how it is just beginning to be covered in the press.
(I may decide to delete 5 soon)
sarameg, Loki is a member of the feline contingent, correct?
Lee,
oh god!
For this third day of the reinvigorated squat challenge, I am taking Zenkitty's advice to use a couch as a 'touch point.' I can say that it has improved my form dramatically.
My legs really are parallel to the floor.
I tried not swinging my arms out in front of me. NO GO.
This means my legs are feeling it WAY more. I guess it also means I was not making the most of my squats last month.
Thanks for the reset, Zen!
Lee had the Extreme Monday experience, I see. I say add bourbon.
Lee, sorry to hear about the anticipated stress at work. Am I to understand by items 2-4 that you are getting stiffed for someone else's use of fasttrak in your previous car? Grrr, argh.
I had some wine I needed to finish off. Bourbon may be later though.
Yipes Lee, that's not a good series of things to learn in one day.
thugkitchen.com is pretty awesome.
My kids drove me nuts all afternoon but have now settled into a good evening. I'll take it even though it's not really a win, more like a draw.
In mememe news, I took on my own personal onerous task day and somehow managed to schedule 2 necessary doctors' visits before the kids get out of school this Friday. Oh! but I still need to schedule Isaac's yearly check up.
