We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

No catastrophic emails, phone calls, or texts about my parents in three hours. I'm baffled, and a little concerned: what's going on?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Fingers crossed that no news really is good news.

Oh Suela, I hope that it just means all is calm and well.

FTR, if Powerball is in my near future, I'm thinking Buffista Island.

Nothing much new here.

Suela, naptime?

I just learned that avocadoes grow on trees. Everyone from California may now mock me.

HAH.

I ate a tangerine this morning that I picked off my own tree. It wasn't that ripe, but it was made sweeter by being picked 90 seconds before.

I just had my old sickly PITA plum tree cut down, so now I am trying to decide if I want to replace it with a lemon tree or an avocado tree or both.

We had an avocado tree in my back yard when I was 3 or 4. I remember playing "golf" with them and a putter from somewhere. One of my few memories from that age. I don't remember eating them, though.
